Darren Verebelyi has performed R&D and product development for 20 years in the fields of solar energy, materials research, and superconductivity.
Darren graduated from Clemson University with a PhD in Physics concentrating on the thermal properties of superconducting single crystals.
Following his graduate work, he had a Postdoctoral appointment in the Solid State Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he was awarded an ORNL World Class Teamwork Award and an R&D 100 Award for the development of superconducting films on metal substrates. Darren has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and holds 9 U.S. patents.
Darren has over 15 years of experience managing process, product and equipment engineering groups and has directed the full project cycle of specification through qualification of new custom equipment on several occasions.
